Retailers are preparing for a busy tourism season as well. Waitrose expects higher customer demand at stores located in popular holiday destinations, including Anglesey, Cornwall, Dorset, and the Isle of Wight. The supermarket believes this could become one of the strongest staycation seasons in recent years as more visitors spend their holidays within Britain.
