Expo 2025 officially opened on April 13 in Osaka, Japan, with the theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives.” The event, held on Yumeshima Island, aims to showcase innovations and solutions for future societies. Despite the grand opening, some foreign pavilions were incomplete, and visitor numbers during the first week fell short of expectations. However, the event has since gained momentum, with the one-millionth visitor recorded on April 23. Expo 2025 is projected to attract approximately 28 million visitors over its six-month duration. The expo features various exhibits focusing on sustainability, technology, and global collaboration.
