Progressive Conservative (PC) Graham McGregor has been re-elected in Brampton North.

McGregor, who was first elected in 2022, garnered 17,597 votes or 57.5 per cent of ballots cast.

“This is a massive victory for us not just in my riding, but all the Brampton ridings and across Ontario,” McGregor said in an interview at his victory party at a Brampton pub.

“We’re very grateful for the people for their confidence, but we’re also resolute in the job that we have to do. We called this election asking for a strong mandate from the people of Ontario to protect their jobs, protect the economy (and) stand up against the threat of tariffs from Donald Trump.”

McGregor said the election results show that his party is on the right track.
