Oxford University has announced a significant expansion of its global scholarship programs aimed at underprivileged and high-achieving students from low-income countries. The initiative is designed to increase access to world-class education for talented individuals who face economic or geopolitical barriers.

The program will cover tuition, accommodation, travel expenses, and living costs. In 2025, more than 250 new scholarships will be offered across various disciplines, including humanities, engineering, medicine, and public policy.

Oxford’s leadership emphasized that the scholarships are part of a broader mission to foster educational equity, attract diverse perspectives, and support future global leaders who can make impactful contributions in their home countries.
