IIT Bombay, in collaboration with Great Learning, has launched a four-month online certificate course titled “Leadership with AI”. The course starts in January 2026, and registrations are currently open, with applications closing on 5 December 2025.
The programme is designed and delivered by IIT Bombay faculty — particularly under the umbrella of its Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management (SJMSOM) — and aims to equip professionals with the knowledge to envision, lead, and scale AI initiatives in their organisations.
Prospective participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from IIT Bombay upon successful completion of the course.

The “Leadership with AI” course includes core modules on:
- AI-ready leadership fundamentals (data intelligence, AI/ML basics)
- Generative AI and agents for business transformation
- AI-led business strategy and organisational change management

Participants also choose one industry-specific track — either BFSI/Fintech or IT / Data Science / Tech — tailoring learning to sector-specific applications, regulations, and AI-use cases.
According to official eligibility criteria, the course is suited for mid- to senior-level professionals, business leaders, entrepreneurs and managers. Applicants need:
- A Bachelor’s degree (any discipline) from a recognised university, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA
- Minimum 3 years of work experience
The total fee for the course is ₹2 lakh (including GST).
