Italian fashion brand Benetton has relaunched its Jean’s West label, introducing a new capsule collection centred on denim and Western-inspired fashion.
The revived line draws inspiration from Far West imagery and classic Western style, while incorporating updated silhouettes and contemporary design elements. The brand originally launched Jean’s West in 1974, when it built its identity around denim and Western aesthetics.
Meanwhile, the relaunch aims to reconnect with the label’s heritage while appealing to modern fashion audiences.
Benetton said the collection combines traditional design references with modern materials and styling, creating pieces designed for everyday wear.
🧵 Denim Remains the Core of the Collection
Denim forms the central element of the Jean’s West capsule collection. Designers created garments that reflect the brand’s original identity while adapting to contemporary fashion trends.
The collection includes a variety of items such as jeans, T-shirts, shirts, and outerwear. These pieces incorporate vintage-inspired details and fabrics that reflect Western heritage style.
Benetton also updated the three-horse logo, which appears on the back labels of jeans and as prints on T-shirts and sweatshirts. The redesigned logo now acts as a visual symbol linking the collection’s heritage to its modern reinterpretation.
Meanwhile, designers emphasised authenticity and timeless materials throughout the line.
👗 Women’s Line Introduces New Denim Styles
The capsule collection also features several pieces designed specifically for women.
Among the highlights is a light denim shirt dress and a panelled skirt with a reworked effect. The outerwear range includes two vintage-style jackets as well as a long trench coat made from rinsed denim, designed as a transitional wardrobe piece.
In addition, the women’s denim range includes cropped cuffed jeans, flared jeans made from recycled cotton, and wide-fit styles. Prices vary depending on the design, with some pieces starting at around 69.95 euros, while others reach approximately 120 euros.
Consequently, the line aims to offer both classic denim staples and modern fashion pieces.
🛍️ Capsule Collection Launches in Selected Stores
Benetton has already released the Jean’s West capsule collection through selected retail channels.
The collection became available at the end of February in around 40 selected stores as well as through the brand’s official online platform.
Meanwhile, the company hopes the relaunch will attract both new customers and long-time fans of the brand.
According to Benetton, the designs speak to younger consumers interested in contemporary interpretations of heritage style, while still appealing to older audiences familiar with the label’s original identity.
🌟 Heritage Label Reintroduced for New Generations
The relaunch represents a renewed focus on heritage-driven fashion design.
By revisiting the Jean’s West label, Benetton aims to celebrate its history while adapting to current market trends. Designers emphasised authenticity, lived-in textures, and classic Western references across the collection.
Therefore, the new capsule collection attempts to balance past identity with modern fashion preferences.
As the fashion industry continues to revisit archival brands and heritage aesthetics, Benetton’s relaunch highlights how established labels can reintroduce classic concepts for contemporary audiences.
