French fashion house Dior is set to host its first-ever show in Ireland, bringing its Fall 2027 collection to the historic Trinity College Dublin.

The event will take place on 4 December at the university’s famous Old Library, known worldwide as the home of the Book of Kells and one of Ireland’s most important cultural landmarks.

The upcoming show marks a significant moment for Dior and designer Jonathan Anderson, who is leading both the women’s and men’s collections at the luxury fashion house.

Anderson, who was born in Northern Ireland, shared his excitement about presenting the collection in Dublin, describing the opportunity as deeply personal. He said his early fashion career began in the city, making the return especially meaningful.

“Showing at Trinity College Dublin is a dream come true,” Anderson said, adding that presenting the collection in such a culturally significant location was a great honour.

The Old Library’s iconic Long Room, with its impressive vaulted ceilings and nearly 200,000 historic books and manuscripts, will provide the backdrop for Dior’s latest showcase.

The event represents a connection between modern fashion and Ireland’s rich cultural heritage, bringing one of the world’s most influential luxury brands to one of the country’s most historic institutions.
