Two years after her passing, Suzanne Somers continues to inspire both fans and family — especially her husband of 55 years, Alan Hamel, who says he’s working on a unique way to preserve her memory.

In a recent interview with People magazine, Hamel revealed that he has been developing an artificial intelligence clone of Somers, calling the project “The Suzanne AI Twin.”

“Obviously, Suzanne was greatly loved, not only by her family, but by millions of people,” Hamel told the publication. “One of the projects that we have coming up is a really interesting project, the Suzanne AI Twin.”

Somers passed away in 2023 at the age of 76, after courageously battling an aggressive form of breast cancer for more than two decades. Throughout her life, she was celebrated not only as an actress—best known for her roles in Three’s Company and Step by Step—but also as an author and wellness advocate.

Hamel’s AI initiative aims to capture Somers’ voice, personality, and digital presence, offering fans an opportunity to engage with her legacy in a modern, technological form. The project represents a blend of love, memory, and innovation — reflecting Hamel’s enduring devotion.

As AI continues to reshape how society preserves and interacts with the past, The Suzanne AI Twin could become a new kind of digital memorial — one that keeps Suzanne Somers’ charm and optimism alive for generations to come.
