The week of April 17–20, 2025, witnessed severe tornado outbreaks across the United States and parts of Europe, causing significant damage and loss of life. In the U.S., a three-day outbreak resulted in 153 tornadoes, including a large EF3 tornado that struck Lake City, Arkansas, prompting a tornado emergency. Additionally, a high-end EF1 tornado in Spaulding, Oklahoma, destroyed homes, resulting in one fatality. In Europe, Spain experienced multiple tornadoes, with an EF2 tornado in Coria del Río collapsing an agricultural warehouse and killing three workers. These events highlight the increasing frequency and intensity of severe weather phenomena, raising concerns about climate change and the need for enhanced disaster preparedness.​
