Nate Bargatze, known for his family-friendly comedy style, has been announced as the host of the 2025 Emmy Awards. The ceremony, which honors the best in television, is set to take place this September.
Bargatze, who gained popularity through specials like The Tennessee Kid and Nate Bargatze: Hello World, shared his excitement in a statement on Wednesday. “It’s a huge honor to be asked to host such an iconic awards show, and I’m beyond excited to work with CBS to create a night that can be enjoyed by families around the world,” he said.
Television Academy Chair Cris Abrego praised Bargatze as “one of the hottest comics in the business,” highlighting his “remarkable and hilarious brand of comedy that deeply resonates with multi-generational audiences around the globe.”
Currently, Bargatze is performing to sold-out audiences worldwide on his Big Dumb Eyes World Tour. In 2024, he broke 20 arena attendance records, underscoring his rising popularity.
